FASHION EXPO 2009!

That's right...it's that time again! Below is the Invitation for Fashion Expo 2009 -- we would love to see YOU there!

The All-Stars Relay For Life team would like to cordially invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual Fashion Expo event! Fashion Expo 2008 was an incredible success for our first year, raising over 1 million lindens. We know that 2009 will be even better and would like you to take part in it with us!

Fashion Expo 2009 will take place June 8th - June 14th, 2009. Fashion Expo combines a mixture of different designers and talents into one area. Everything from clothing, to hair, to shoes, to skins, to shapes, to jewelry, to even poses will be represented! If it’s about FASHION, we’ll have it.

This year, to help cover the cost of land fees, we are offering three shop sizes at three different prices. A small space (20×20) will be 1500L, a medium space (30×20) will be 2500L and a large space (40×20) will be 3500L. The small space will be 150 prims, medium will be 300 prims and the large will be 500 prims. There will be a small supply of large shops (currently 6 available) so please respond quickly as these will be first come, first serve. The prims that you receive regardless of booth size will be yours to do with as you please, but please keep in mind there will be setup guidelines released at a later date (no scripts, particles, etc. will be permitted in order to keep lag at a bare minimum).

Each designer will be asked to create a minimum of two original items that will be sold in All-Stars Relay For Life vendors the week of Fashion Expo in your booth. You may have as many All-Stars vendors up with as many items as you would like to have for that week — but please at least have 2.

We will also have a One of a Kind Silent Auction that will take place the entire week of Fashion Expo, and designers are encouraged to contribute a piece for this auction, but it is not mandatory to participate. Last year’s Auction raised over 500,000L, with the highest bid being over 100,000L for a beautiful one of a kind skin from Skin Within… and we would like to make this year even more incredible!

This year’s theme will be all about the the magical, colorful, wonderful Wizard of Oz. Everything from the colors of Munchkin Land to the beauty of Emerald City will be represented. You can keep this theme in mind while designing your creations, or figuring how you would like to decorate your store, but it is in no way a theme you have to follow.

I am sure that you realize by now that “Business in a Box” resellers & freebie resellers will not be accepted into this event. That goes double for stolen content.
